An interesting curiosity in Sant Lluis that few people have noticed is the sign of the nearby villages that can be found in the roundabout of “La Paloma”, the name corresponding to the sculpture that crowns the centre, indicating 4 kilometres to all the nearby villages.

But before continuing on this road let’s see another village that is also worth visiting and that will tell you how many kilometres it is from Sant Lluis. If the statistics are true and Monte Toro is the most typical visit in Minorca with one million tourists a year, the fishing village of the Binibeca Vell urbanization, now Binibèquer Vell is surely among the most popular destinations. One hundred and sixty-five homes spread out over a plot of land just over seven thousand metres in front of the sea, a typical fishing marina that was worthless at the time and which a group of developers from Maó, headed by Arcadi Orfila, Rafael Sintes and Vicente Amer, imagined as an idyllic location to enjoy Menorca.
