It is compulsory for your property to be licensed as an ETV (Estancia Turistica Vacacional). Any residential property with a duration of less than one month, it is considered to be a tourist rental. In Menorca, new licences are only granted in certain areas since 2018, which are considered tourist areas. In order to obtain a tourist licence for your property, a series of requirements and conditions are necessary: current certificate of ability, water, electricity, essential equipment, and optional features which give extra points such as swimming pool, internet, or air conditioning system. Once your application is approved, you will be given a plaque with the licence number, which you must display on the property.

Beaches and small bays in Es Castell
