The arrival of the high-speed train (AVE) to Sant Andreu, where it will have one of the two stops in Barcelona at the new station of La Sagrera, will mark a before and after for the district. The transformations will affect the lower part of the neighborhoods of La Sagrera and Sant Andreu, and the boundary between the latter and the neighborhoods of Bon Pastor and Baró de Viver, along the great linear park that will follow the entire train route. The neighborhood of Congrés, the Indians, and Navas, in the south of the district, and Trinitat Vella, in the north, will not have urban developments linked to the AVE in their territories.
