65th anniversary of the ‘Associació del Passeig de Gràcia’

The night of the 7^th of June, in the Majestic Hotel & Spa, ‘Associació del Passeig de Gràcia’ celebrated their annual gala. This year, on the 65^th anniversary of the association, Atipika Barcelona had the honour to be invited to the event.     The organization was born in 1952 to promote, protect and defend the interests of its members in Passeig de Gràcia and the street itself, as it is one of the most important commercial areas in Spain. The area is unique as well because of its abundant modernist architecture (with buildings by Gaudí, Puig i Cadafalch or Domènech i Montaner, among others), and in which the most important and influential brands and companies in the world have a branch office. This year, during the gala, the chef Martín Berasategui – with more than eight Michelin stars on its back – was awarded the ‘Premi Amic del Passeig de Gràcia’ for his great job on the wonderful ‘Lasarte’ restaurant, close to Passeig de Gràcia.     The evening was delightful and full of random draws with products from brands with presence in Passeig de Gràcia. Several members of the association, as well as some guests, spoke during the evening and highlighted the need to join their forces to maintain their position as one of the most important commercial areas in the world.     Passeig de Gràcia, and all the companies and brands there, are waiting for you.
