Gratacós history is linked with fashion brands that emerge and stablish themselves in Barcelona. Many of the fabrics that were used in the last edition of
080 Barcelona Fashion were created there. Pilar del Campo, Justicia Ruano or Bran & Beast were some of the brands that took to the runway clothes produced with their
luxury fabrics.
“As every year, we like to know how our fabrics are shaped into clothes that the designers imagine, and these are target of the flashes on the runway”, says Gratacós webpasge. They are not only suppliers of independent and young talents, they have turned into a
referent for national and international high street fashion brands. Because of the delicacy and quality of their fabrics, Chanel, Valentino, Desigual, Adolfo Domínguez, Armani or Docle&Gabbana are just some of their most distinguished clients.
Apart from making great efforts to find and
create new textures and colours, they have proved that their brand is especially important in the proposal of new textile trends. In each of their collections, Gratacós offers plain fabrics, threaded fabrics and jacquard structures, handmade or machine embroideries, and they also create
original designs in silk and natural fabrics printed with new techniques.
In 2015, Gratacós moved from their emblematic corner in ‘Paseo de Gracia’ with ‘Diagonal’, to the quiet ‘Calle Riera de Sant Miquel’, 9, in ‘Vila de Gràcia’. In their new premises they maintain their store, their lab, and have their international showroom. Their new location has also been turned into a meeting point for fashion students.
