Yellow, green, blue, or red are good options, they will give a lively touch to your home. But what really turns your house into a home are the little details. Mix blankets, carpets, curtains, and cushions with different textures – different fabrics in a same space produce a cosy optical effect that will make you feel comfortable. Light some candles and put beautiful vases with fresh flowers on them, use mirrors so light is reflected on them and make your house unique with photographs that evoke happy moments.
