Each of the Spanish Autonomous Communities has a unique gastronomic offer – ‘Pulpo a la gallega’, ‘paella valenciana’, ‘cocido madrileño’, ‘pa amb tomàquet’ and ‘pescaíto frito’ are just a few examples. Do you feel like getting a taste of any of these dishes? You won’t need to leave Barcelona to do so.
Atipika Barcelona suggests that you try some traditional Andalusian dishes in several of the best restaurants that offer these delicatessens from the south of Spain.
El Señorito (Manso154) is the best place to try some of them, there you can have their amazing ‘tapas’ while enjoying one of their Jerez wines.

It is located in ‘Sant Antoni’ and in El Señorito you will find and authentic atmosphere where Sevilla, Córdoba, Jerez and Puerto de Santa María meet. You will think that you are actually in Andalusia. Among their famous ‘tapas’ are ‘mollete de prigá’, ‘chicharrones’ and ‘tortillas de camarones’.
In Poblesec you will find
La Chana (Poeta Cabanyes 8), another of the well-known spots where you can find these delicious dishes. It is a small but cosy place and their gastronomic offer will take you to the coastal city of Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Some of their most famous dishes are ‘salmorejo’, ‘queso payoyo’, ‘atún anchoado’, ‘papas con melva’ and, of course, ‘pescaito frito’.

Last but not least we recommend
Mi Carmela (Llibreteria, 10) in ‘Gótic’. This is a wonderful place where there’s always a good atmosphere. Their ‘tapas’ are just to die for, and they will take us from the most traditional Andalusia, to the Islas Canarias cuisine. The variety in this restaurant is quite amazing, you can order Fish & Chips, ‘papas arrugás’ or ‘croquetas de chipirón en su tinta’ among many other dishes.
Would you like to enjoy these little pleasures on a regular basis?
