th of March to the 2
nd of April, the Aribau Club will host the new edition of the Moritz Feed Dog. In 2017 they celebrate, for the third year in a row, the Fashion Documentary Film Festival, the Spanish fashion documentary festival.
This festival exists thanks to In-Edit Producciones and its official sponsor, the Catalan beer Moritz, along with the help of other brands such as Levi’s, Palo Alto Market or Casa Bonay.
The idea of the producers is to promote fashion as much as possible and make the most of the four hectic days full of passion and creativity. Besides the documentaries, there will also be round tables with the creators, presentations, short films and debates.
Some of the documentary films that can be watched from this Thursday to Sunday are:
Suited, Out of Fashion or
To be a Miss, among others. There are documentaries that stand out because of their topics, such as
Franca: Chaos & Creation, a portrait about the recently defunct Italian Vogue journalist;
Dries, a film about the creative process that the Belgian fashion designer Dries Van Noten followed in the creation of its 100
th collection, and
Bangaologia – The Science of Style, the documentary which shows the philosophy of life of the Angolan, whose style is characterised by always being colourful, exuberant and excessive.
This festival will also offer different activities, talks and discussions. On this edition, the new concept of fashion will be debated and it will also be discussed how sustainability is acquiring a great deal of importance in the sector.
